Short Description

We are looking for a Senior Network and Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage our entire network infrastructure. This role spans internal corporate networks, cloud/data center environments, and critical security/firewall management, ensuring high availability, performance, and robust security across all systems.

Primary Role and Responsibilities

1.  Corporate Network Design & Maintenance

Design, configure, and maintain the Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), and Wireless Network infrastructure (routers, switches, access points).

Manage network services including DNS, DHCP, and IP address management (IPAM).

Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure optimal connectivity and reliability for all internal users.

2. Cloud & Data Center Networking

Plan and implement network connectivity and architecture within our Cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Data Center facilities.

Configure and manage virtual private clouds (VPCs), load balancers, and direct connect/express route solutions.

Ensure seamless integration and secure communication between corporate, data center, and cloud networks.

3.  Security & Firewall Management

Manage and maintain all network security systems, including enterprise-grade firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPN solutions.

Develop and enforce network security policies and access control lists (ACLs) to protect internal and external assets.

Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and implement mitigation strategies.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in complex network engineering, with a focus on both infrastructure and security.

Certifications (Highly Preferred): Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) and a relevant security certification (e.g., Palo Alto PCNSE or Fortinet NSE).

Technical Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), switching, VLANs, and firewall configuration.

Cloud Experience: Practical experience with networking components in at least one major cloud provider (AWS/Azure/GCP).
